Malnutrition in all its forms has become the leading cause of poor health and death among children below the age of 5. According to UNICCEF, almost half of all death of children under the age of 5 are caused by diet related chronical diseases in addition to stunted growth which can affect the child’s performance. Malnutrition can be combined in two aspects that is; not getting enough food which can lead to stunted growth, increased risk of infection and even death. The other can be hidden hunger or if a child lacks food variety. JK Arms for charity foundation IN PARTNERSHIP WITH other organizations through our malnutrition program we have helped to combat malnutrition through providing;
Through our medical personnel’s, we visit hospitals and several homes in our region in search for malnourished children. During our visit at Mulago referral hospital we got in touch with several children that are malnourished and experienced stunted growth. Other children were spotted from different homes around the region. We have been working with these children for several months while observing their recovery. And most of them have responded positively










After assessing the need to decrease on the deaths rate of our your ones we decided to create nutrition program where we to reach out to families and careres for the children who are malnourished, in different ways;
All parents should know how to prevent malnutrition from recurring. One-way JK Arms for charity has helped is through organizing ground education programs for mothers and care takers to ensure that they understand the causes of malnutrition and how to prevent its recurrence among children. This is done through helping them, counselling and befriending them.
